At InForm Health & Exercise we believe that optimal outcomes stem from an individualised exercise program tailored to meet the individual's health needs, functional abilities and overall goals.   This means, that although you will be within a group dynamic, your program will be suited to your outcomes and progress.

We are excited to work with you to reach your goals and promote a holistic approach to healthcare. 

In order to be eligible to join a class, you will need to complete an assessment with one of our Accredited Exercise Physiologists to ensure the program we devise for you meets all of your needs and will assist you to meet the goals you have.

At InForm Health & Exercise, we offer individual consultations as well as group exercise sessions.  

Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists will also ensure you have an individualised exercise program to suit your needs and goals even if you are in a group session.  

Here is a little more information about our group sessions:

Strength Training
This group is designed for individuals with chronic or complex health conditions or those recovering from and injury or surgery.  You can expect to complete a tailored exercise program over the 60 minute session which will include a range of cardiovascular, strength, balance and flexibility training.  Your program will be developed and progressed each week in line with your goals.  In this session we monitor your body's response to exercise (before and after) by observing your oxygen saturation, heart rate and for some, blood pressure and blood sugar levels. 

Breast Cancer Exercise Group

This group is a specialised program for individuals that have had a breast cancer diagnosis. The program offers tailored exercise prescription targeted to your rehabilitation goals. We provide education about how to best manage the side effects of your acute cancer treatments (such as fatigue, pain, peripheral neuropathy, lymphoedema and reduced range of movement and strength). Participants are accepted into the program during any stage of their cancer treatment.

There is strong evidence to support the utilisation of exercise both during and after cancer treatments to prevent deconditioning, prevent breast cancer reoccurrence and maintain a healthy body weight. Our experienced team of Exercise Physiologists will provide you with a safe and comfortable environment where you will improve your confidence to move and have the opportunity to meet other patients that have had a similar experience.

​This program is designed to assist you create a routine, improve your strength and stamina, improve your range of movement and provide an opportunity for ongoing professional input. 

Inspire Exercise Group
The Inspire group is open to any individuals who have a current or previous cancer diagnosis.  This is a general oncology group to target individual needs and abilities and utilise exercise to assist in achieving their holistic health and wellbeing goals. 

The evidence supporting the role of exercise in managing many different forms of cancer is growing and this warrants a service specific to meet the needs of the population group.

Our Exercise Physiologists are passionate and specially trained to manage and educate patients about the role of exercise, providing a targeted approach and managing the journey during and after cancer. 

The Inspire group provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals to feel part of a community with their individual goals the focus of their rehabilitation and care. 

Strong Minds
The Strong Minds group has been created to offer safe and effective exercise to those who suffer from a mental health condition.  As part of the group, our clients receive an individually tailored exercise program, advice regarding exercise for mood management and psychosocial support from Accredited Exercise Physiologists with experience in in and outpatient psychiatric services.   The session is 45 minutes and will provide you with the tools, confidence and strength to be feeling better inside and out!

Post Natal Exercise
Having a new baby is the start of a new journey, an exciting time but also a lot of change for your body to adjust to!  At InForm Health & Exercise, we understand this and we aim to work with you to get you feeling stronger, pain-free, flexible and improve your conditioning and fitness to be able to have the energy to keep up with your new bub!  Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists will work with you to develop a home-based program as well as within the group setting to build your core, strengthen your back and pelvis and improve your functional strength again.

Reformer Pilates
Clinical Pilates is a form of core based exercise whereby once your core is able to support your body, your muscles will be able to function more efficiently.  Pilates Reformer machines are used in our clinics to provide a form of resistance training and to challenge your deep core and stabilising muscles.   This class will help in recovering from and preventing injuries, improve your posture, strengthen your back muscles, improve flexibility and overall joint mobility.
